Default Fruit bars - preferably vegan

I'm looking for a recipe to make fruit bars for my 8-mth old who is having a great time with solids now. Preferably vegan, so that my vegan friends and people with food allergies can also enjoy them.

I sometimes eat commercial fruit bars that are soft enough for a two-tooth baby, but probably have artificial colours & flavours as well as nuts/eggs/dairy. The commercial ones are sometimes labelled "school bars".

I found a thread in this forum titled "Replacement Fruit Bars" but there was no text when I followed the link.....
