Babywearing Walk & Picnic at Southbank this Sunday (16.11.08)
As part of International Babywearing Week (Baby Carriers Downunder International Babywearing Week 2008 ANZ Events) we are having a Babywearing Walk and Picnic at Southbank Parklands this Sunday. We will start the walk at the Ferris Wheel (QPAC end) at 11am and go to the other end of the parklands for a picnic at noon, stopping along the way to invite other parents to join us and find out more about babywearing. There will be opportunity at the picnic area to try on carriers and get advice on carriers. There's also a DIY carrier making workshop on Saturday at Indooroopilly Library Meeting Room for those who are interested in learning how to make their own sling/carrier. Details in the link above.
