Smile Due Summer 09/10 - Dec, Jan, Feb

Well, I guess I'll get the ball rolling here; I haven't been able to find another thread like this one (hope I'm not being stupid). I guess it's just early days.

My EDD is Dec 6th, and I am looking to find some company. So, come on down!

Hello Chai!! It's great to have a little company here!! I see from your 'introducing' post that this will be your first... How exciting!!!! Are you telling people yet, or is it still a big secret? I hope you have been keeping well so far... every morning I wake up and kind of poke myself (metaphorically) to see if the nausia is going to arrive today... from what I can remember with my first it was at about 7 wks and 5 days, which will be tomorrow for me this time around. But then some people don't get any!! Anyhow, lovely to have you, and hope to hear about all the nitty gritty soon!

Hey Jane

We've already told a few people, it's way too exciting to keep it a secret! We've told some immediate family and a few friends, but I'm waiting a little longer to tell more people. I plan to tell work after the 1st trimester is over.

I've been a little queasy on and off but nothing too traumatic. Mostly just the breakout from hell, I look like the clearasil 'before' poster child! Hope I don't get full blown morning sickness though.

I think I'm about 6 weeks along, but I won't know for sure until I go for my 12 week scan.

Hello MissJane (why do I feel like nodding my pencil nose right there?), hello Chai.

New to this forum - I am due around the 9th, I think.

Hey there suzJ! What a great day to have a baby! (that's my birthday... I have a funny feeling I may be a little too busy to celebrate this year, though.) I see that you are a real 'old hand'; have you told Y yet? I can imagine that your family will have a pretty big adjustment to make. I have a fairly major history of miscarriage, so I don't want to talk to Daniel about it 'til I'm a bit further along, just in case, but I must say, I am feeling good about this pregnancy taking.

Chai, sorry to hear about the acne.... I guess that's part of the pregnant woman 'glow' thing. (All pregnant women are beautiful. No matter what the mirror says. It is a well established fact.) So far so good for morning sickness for me, my biggest 'tell' so far is my breasts... heavy & a bit sore.

We told Y on Friday night - when V saw the ultrasound in the morning, his main thought was that she should have been there to see the heartbeat - but it is still a BIG secret (which is why I didn't want to tell her too early).

Thanks for the welcome. An old hand, but it was a loooong time ago when I last dealt with the whole pregnancy thing, let alone the outcome in December.

I was a week over last time around, so I am sure it will happen when it happens - but I will take your word for the 9th being a good one to aim for! BTW - the 6th is one of my best friend's birthdays, so I can recommend that back.
