hi shay, well sadly enough i've had a issed imscarriage .there was an egg but no embryo or hb.i wonder where the baby went? too upset to think of that qu.at the time.anyway i'll let nature take its course and hopefully will get a period soon.i'm having terrible stomach pains and spent 3 days in bed after the first scan.anyway no doubt i'll feel more cheerful in time.you take good care of yourself and i wish you and your family all the greatest life has to offer in your futures.
take care, enjoy your pg

Hi People

Third time lucky! I am very new to internet forums (have managed to type stuff without posting three two times already!). I am due with my first child (and first pregnancy) in December, so thought this thread might be a good place to start to hear about what other people are going through. For me and my partner the last 3 months have been a total rollercoaster with our lives being turned upside down. We haven't started any of the purchasing of any baby paraphanalia yet as it just seems so scary! Will post this before I loose it again...

hows everyone doing?
Not alot to report here M/S is driving me nuts at the moment but its alot better than the hyperemisis i had with peanut.
Got a phone call from FIL last night and they have decided to come over from the births, not sure how i feel about that at the moment... I mean its great that they are coming but DH and I were hoping to have just the two of us present for the actual births and i sort of feel obligated (sp) to allow them in seeing as though they are travelling over from NZ.
It will be good though to have some extra support during the first couple weeks because DH will have to go back to work pretty soon after and my parents will be working as well so be nice to have someone to entertain and watch the others while i have some shut eye when needed.
anyway...
just checking in.
Jeannie how are you traveling?
take care all
Shay

Sorry folk - seems that I haven't been here for a while!

Jeannie - so sad to hear your news. I hope you get a lot of healing vibes and I do hope that life offers you refreshed hope soon.

Welcome Dellie! You are due the same month as me, so should be in the "honeymoon phase" of the pregnancy. How is it all going?

Peanut - I do hope that the wireless connector did not cause any problematic gastronomical outcomes?

We are poking along here quite well. No complaints, met the team at the local hospital (the only option available here for birthing unless you import midwives from 200km away) and they put me quite at ease with their policies, so happy with that. Morphology scan next Wednesday, which is also 3 years to the day since our first "date".

dear suzj and everyone else,

yes i'm definately looking at all the positives in my life.i wont be attempting to get pg again atleast until next year sometime.i couldnt bear bear to go thru this heartache again so soon, even though i'm aware chances are as good as anyone elses.the last coulple of days its been occuring to me that we're going to have the most amazing little baby one day and i'll know that if this hadnt happened then our next baby wouldnt have been born to us.sounds a bit weird when i put it down on paper so to speak as ofcourse every child born is equally perfect and amazing.god i love children so much.i'm so in love with my daughter and i keep reflecting on the benifits of another year or more of one on one with her.angela turned 2 in may, so ofcourse this is a very special time for us together.we're having a pretty good time too.lots of games and fun.
well you guys all sound so great and i'm so happy for you all
take care of yourselves.no need to reply.thankyou for all your love and well wishes.
love jeannie

hope everyone is cooking along nicely.
we have a scan this afternoon and im a bit worried about it, i havent been feeling too well last couple days and started spotting this morning but fingers crossed everything is fine.
Ive resisted the temptation to buy anything yet although my parents arrived with a box full of stuff over the weekend.
we are in our second trimester now and i had to laugh at peanut this morning he seems to think mummy is getting so big she has her own gravitational pull as he was running aound me in circles this morning slowly getting futher and futher away like i was slingshotting him around lol little toad.
anyway hope everyone is well its getting lonely on here lol
