Significance of snakes in dreams...

Is any body able to tell me if snakes have any significance in dreams? I had a dream ast night about a huge snake (and I'm talking HUGE) I don't really remember being afraid of it just a bit wierded out by the fact that there was a huge snake in this tree house where my dream took place I also remember a few little baby snakes making an appearance too but I'm not sure if it was just becasue a friend came over yesterday with photos from her trip to Australia Zoo or if there is smoe kind of meaning behind it as I remember it quite vividly...
ETA almost all my dreams are set at the house where I grew up I don't know why but they always seem to take place there but this dream wasn't.

Hiya...most commonly I'm pretty sure snakes in dreams are an erotic or sexual symbol. But I think they can also represent a conflict or problem existing for you at this moment.

Answer me this one though....I had a bull ant stuck in a crack in my tooth the other night that I had to struggle to pull out with a hair that was stuck around it!!! Aaagg! Bizarre end of pregnancy dream??

I wish snakes were only in my dreams

We've had four encounters in our garden in the last three months and they're supposed to be hibernating or something aren't they?!

nope no tunnels but I did dream that I missed a plane and was at the airport with a friend and there HUGE family and we were trying to organise another flight but couldn't then the baby snakes came...weird huh maybe no more chinese food before bed?
