Good or Bad Omen?

The other day I was driving my car with the girls and a black cat crossed my path. It didnt only cross my path but made me slow down so it could do so all the while staring right at me.
When it had finally passed it sat down on the road where I had just been and stared after me.
The cat was really quite a nice looking cat so it wasnt a freaky scary cat or anything.
Im looking more into paganism and which path I will take, so I wonder if it had anything to do with that.
Talk about freaky!!!
I actually dont feel bad about it, so it cant be a bad omen, just weird.

wonder what its supposed to mean? That cat was fully staring at my face and then stayd there look after me for ages.

In Ireland (where my family is from) Black cats are considered good luck so is Friday the 13th, I don't believe in bad luck I think it's just a passage needed to go through to get to the good stuff iykwim

ha ha ha no didnt even come close to running it over. I was driving slowely and had plenty of time to slow down even more.

Perhaps it knew you Suzie? Like a reincarnation of a relative or friend? I think it is lovely that it looked at you. I probably would have stopped and tried to pat it .

To be honest I was a little freaked out. No, it didnt look at me like it knew me, it looked at me like it was telling me something that it knew and I didnt.
It was fully staring into my face. Wonder whats coming up in my future? How exciting.

Cats can be very direct - dont' think it's an omen or anything like that, just that cats are hauty animals who might well stare at a car as if to say "what are you doing in my way?"
