500 Extra tickets for Dalai Lama Brisbane

Spiralgirl's internet is a bit sick this morning so she has asked me to post this thread.

Today at 2pm 500 new tickets for the Dalai Lama's public talk in Brisbane will become available via ticketek.

Tickets are free but have a $5 fee.

thanks so much bek! A new modem and i dont know myself! How did i cope with slow interent for so long?? lol

This is all very confusing - seems the tickets were not released friday, and are now supposed to be released mon at 12 noon - its 500 new tickets inside the auditorium...if you figure that each person is allowed a maximum of 6 tickets,it should sell out in aprox 5 mins!! Wish me luck

Good luck Tahne I would love to go. Will you be getting 6 tickets if you can get them? Using them all?

Was just thinking about trying to get some and if I got through I would get 6- and then give some that I dont need away....

if i get through i will get as many as they let me!!! I know so many people that missed out on tickets first time - including Tibetan refugees that live in brissie!!!

Im going to melbourne to see him so I am happy to just see him there and make sure that i give all mine to people that only have brissie as an option IYKWIM

There was info in the Sunday paper - I think it said 600 released at 2pm. I'll try middday if not I'll try at 2pm.

I missed out on these tix, sadly, but instead I'm headed up to Australia Zoo on the 14th. Anyone else doing the same?

We are so excited - the opportunity to listen to the Dalai Lama and then spend the day at the zoo as a family - I can't think of a better way to spend the day!

Hi my name is Pam I only just heard that the Dahli Lama will be in Brisbane next week, I am having personal issues and think seeing him would help each if the concert tickets are $5 I will pay anyone tripple that if they have a spare ticket, if so can you call me on 0431146972 Thank you!
