Default This is very bizarre!

Hi everyone

I wasn't sure where to post this - I'm not even sure if it is spiritual in nature or whether it's some freaky geographical thing. I swear this has truly happened, and I would like some sort help with what might be going on here.

On about 3 occasions in the last 3 months our family bed has been vibrating very slightly. The first time it happened my DH and I were in bed with our daughter and it woke us up after having fallen asleep not long before. We initially though it was minor vibrations from a far off earthquake and we started to panic a bit. It stopped a little after we woke. My DH checked the news for news of an earthquake somewhere and there was nothing! We thought of an earthquake because we have felt 2 earthquakes before. However, nothing else in the room was moving.

It again happened, not long after just before we both drifted off to sleep and we both felt it - feeling very disturbed again. Then the last time it happened was last night. I lay with my daughter in our bed to get her to sleep. I was bugged and fell asleep with her, and woke to the same vibration. Again it is very mild, but there!! It stopped about a minute after I woke.

What do you think this is!! I have heard of geographical stress zones, and how they can effect your sleep, but this is crazy. Does anyone think it is spiritual. We both believe in God, and have very mainstream beliefs about God and religion - we do not do any sort of pagan or black magic. My Dh's mum is very religious and prays alot. Very pious. She has had some contact with good spirits, however she herself has had black magic done on her. I know this is sounding bizarre, but my DHcomes from an asian country and over there a lot of that sort of stuff goes on.

We have lived in our house for 6 years (new). Nothing has changed really. The only odd thing that I have ever seen in our house is that once my daughters' swing (seat with frame), was standing with legs closed in the middle of a room. Just prior I had seen it shut.

Any ideas about the bed anyone. I know it all sounds weird.

thanks

OMG I have the same thing sometimes but was too freaked out to tell anyone

I'll keep watching this thread to find out if anyone has an ideas what it is

I thought perhaps I was jumping around in my sleep and woke up and the bed was still moving from that???

I am serious
It's happened to me a few times and totally freaked me out. I have also checked to see if pictures on the walls had moved checking for earthquakes.

I do however see spiders very often when I am about to go to sleep or just wake up. They are so real and I stare at them wide eyed for ages then jump up turn on the light and nothing.

I think there are certain stages of sleep that happen before you actually fall asleep IYKWIM? So you can dream before your eyes even shut. It could all just be that.

Maybe some night work - roadworks or mining or similar?

This happened to a friend of mine, and she told me - I mentioned it to another friend (they don't know each other) who lived nearby - both slightly in the country. She'd experience the same thing. They eventually discovered there was tunnelling going on at night, something to do with a resevoir.

see the thing is both my husband and I felt it - it wasn't just one of us.

we did think of some sort of roadworks too - but can't think of anything that might be doing it.

This (and the spiders thing ) has happened to us too. Sienna, let me seek some advice and I'll get back to you. It may just be geographical but if it is spiritual in nature I'll be able to tell you. It could be if you mother has had black magic spoken over her. The good news is that if it is Spiritual you can easily rid yourself of the problem. I'll PM you when I find out more... actually quite fascinating... sorry your sleep is disturbed...

cheers,

Cas

our bed is the opposite side of the house to our laundry but our washing machine when it spins out makes our bed and bedroom window shake. do you put the washing on at night? it doesn't have to be a shaky washing machine to do it. seemed to fit your pattern of coming and going at bedtime. you may only feel it some nights when the rest of the house is still and your not in deep sleep and miss it.

the other thing funny we had happen in bed was when we had an electric blanket on. i could feel dh vibrating ever so slightly. it turned out if one side was on and one off we could feel the vibration if they were both on we couldn't.

there are probably other electrical things that could cause vibrations. anyway good luck with it whatever it turns out to be.

My Dad felt a similar thing a few nights ago. In the morning he was asking if anyone else felt the earthquake. I thought he must be going crazy but maybe it was something l ike this.
