i'm just scoping out the town! LOL! DH is looking at a job out there and i know nothing of the area. Just hoping there is a good AP / homeschooling sort of community out there.

Good luck Michelle.
Have you been out there to check it out? It's a long way from anywhere. I've heard of a few women having problems accessing health services out there, eg. having to travel 600km round trip for antenatal matters etc. Will this be a concern for you?
The money you can make out there is great, and there are often other perks (my DH was offered house. phone, car on top of great pay), but it wasn't enough to make us leave our community here.

Hey Jamie,
have not been out there- too far away! LOL.
Darcy is only 5months so #3 will be a couple of years away.... still, my HB went well so freebirth would not be entirely out of the question so that is not a major concern for me.
Leaving the extended family is a big issue but DH is looking for work all over the place at the moment and it would only be for a few years and then we would move back. Looking at the NT (Katherine, Alice Springs) etc at the moment too.... Will be interesting to see where we end up. I think it will be a good experience for the boys especially if we can get somewhere with some space around us. Will see what happens i suppose.....
