Just thought I'd post some info I have just received about a screening of "The Business of Being Born" (produced by Rikki Lake and directed by Abby Epstein) in Sydney, Wednesday Feb 20th at The Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts (SMSA), 280 Pitt St, between Park and Bathurst Streets in the City.
Screening times are 11am (doors open 10.30) for a Babes In Arms session

or 7.30pm (doors open 7pm) for an evening screening.
Susan Ross (author of "Birth Right")will be introducing the film and will give an Australian perspective on the childbirth industry. Susan has worked for over three decades as a midwife, doula childbirth /parenting educator, in public and private hospitals and in the community. She is the Director of Birth Right, offering support and education for pregnant women, their partners and family.
This is an Australian Breastfeeding Association fundraiser.
Tickets are $25 a head. Pre-paid bookings are essential.
