Lismore area?

Is there anyone from arround this area that would like to meet up? Or is there a group that already gets together? I am not as "natural" as some of you I did cloth and diposibles i didnt discover baby wearing till she is almost to heavy to carry We do co-sleep and still breast feed and my disapline techniques need work If anyone would like to meet up?

There are some members around Lismore, I'm sure they'll be along shortly. And I'm sure nobody will be making you fill out a checklist to make sure you're "natural" enough

I'm up at Tenterfield, which is 2 hours from Lismore according to my friend who goes down there, but I'm another 1/2 hr from Tenterfield...anyway we've talked occasionally about going down for nappycinos but it hasn't come off yet, life gets too busy and the petrol is a killer!

If you'd like a weekend away you'd be most welcome here, we have a guest room, big yard, lots and lots of animals, and I'm studying my first Doula module too! Ahem must get onto that, been a while since it got looked at *blush*...

Hi Leah, I'm just outside lismore
There are a couple of lismore mamas who get together at friends houses now and I'm sure you would be more than welcome. The local ABA group also has meetings every 2nd friday of the month at lismore library (downstairs)

Forgot to say Nikki... I have just finished my first module and got it back from Chris and i am very pleased to say I passed it and I dont have to do any of it again Once I actually sat down and did it i got it finished quite quickly

I am from Tenterfield as well Have been planning a trip down for a while now but just haven't made it.....DH and I used to live in Lismore, well just out of it at Jiggi....DH grew up down there...Will be sure to let you know when everything comes together and i do get down there LOL If that ever happens...

Yes, I'm also just outside Lismore, but get into town most weeks for shopping, ABA meetings and so on.

I too co-sleep and breast feed my 2 1/2 year old, and we use 'sposies when we go out and cloth at home. Everyone has their own ways and it's most importantly about what works for you and your family.

The ABA meeting is a good way to meet a nice mix of Mum's in the Lismore area who might do things diferently from each other but happily share experiences and support. (I actually met "Sirk" there IRL, after first "meeting" here on NP).
