i donno how many are from ACT, have you ever had a meet?
I don't 'know' any AP parents here in Canberra, and would love to meet some.. i'm a young mother just getting into AP...

I'm starting an AP/NP type playgroup - so if you guys would like to come along, that would be great

Our first meeting is on Wednesday 25th February, either in Commonwealth Park or Glebe Park (haven't confirmed the specifics of the time and location yet) and we will hopefully be meeting every Wednesday afternoon.

Hi there,
my best friend Yvette lives in Wagga and is feeling very isolated. Canberra's about 2 hours from her so not really good for quick playgroup but is there anyone who lives nearer her? Wagga would be great! I'm in Melbourne so we don't meet all that often and I'd love to know she's finding other women who are child friendly to be with. She has a little girl who'll be 4 in March.

Kate, I hope you can make it on 25th I've just posted the details of the playgroup in the thread titled 'Canberra AP Playgroup'.

I don't know about anything in Wagga... it seems that most of the AP/NP type groups are mostly in the major cities unfortunately. Janet - maybe your friend could post a message on a site like this or another mainstream parenting site... there are a few bigger sites that seem to have lots of people from smaller towns around Australia - I'm sure there are others in Wagga who want to meet up with likeminded parents
