When Next?

Ok girls, it seems that we haven't had a chance for us all to get together for a while. So when and where should we make the next meet-up?

Sounds like a get together would be good again soon. It was just Liz and I at the last one. If we follow the pattern we set earlier then it would be Thursday next week in the Maitland area.

we have finally moved.. so maitland definitely suits me... what about maitland park... if that is what it is called... i don't have a computer at my place now so i can't check very often... i'll phone chelle to find out what plan has been made

I can't do thurs. I can do friday though, and am hanging out. If friday suits many let me know. Ireally want to talk to you guys about organising a natural parenting expo for newcastle.

I can't do thurs either but I can on fri if that suits others (do we mean 19th/20th or 36th/27th?). Chelle it sounds like you have huge plans!! Can't wait to hear about it.

Yep friday suits me too. I think we are talking about this friday the 20th arn't we?
So do we want to meet at Maitland Park at say 10.30am? Hopefully it wont be raining!
Chelle I am dying to hear what you are thinking about too. You have us all intrigued I think.

oh, if it is this friday, Ben and I are going to a playschool concert in mayfield at 11:30 so we probably can't come to maitland too. Chelle, stop keeping us all in the dark!!

I was thinking this Friday but only because I'm going out of my head with excitement for this idea

. Maybe we should do next Friday 27th and others can go ahead and do their thing on Thursday as they were planning.

My idea is, if there are a few people interested, we could have a natural parenting expo where we have loads of people coming together to promote their natural parenting "tools" - midwives / doulas, nappies, slings, food, etc. We could also organise some speakers to give talks on discilpline, education, and all of the things we're about. Now, here's the other thing...we could use any profits to go towards setting up a natural parenting support group to get our ideas out to the wider public and to be here to support them in their lonely/stressed/etc. times.

Anyone interested?

Every Thursday Maritsa and I meet at the restaurant for lunch, and although I can't meet up on Thursday morning, I will be there as usual for lunch, so if anyone would like to head over afterwards and talk about it, feel free

I don't know why the hell I'm making myself busier, but if we got a strong team together things fall into place easily.

Wow chelle - I would love to be involved. Did you have a venue in mind, how would we pay for it? I have a friend who is a birth centre midwife. Also Yolande who you met at lambton park that time is the group leader for aba central newcastle - I am sure they would like to be involved.
