2 meetings a month

Since it's highly unlikely we will get a day that everyone can make it on. Do you think it would be an idea to have 2 different days in a month. For example 1st Thursday of the month and 3rd Friday of the month. SO maybe the two days that the poll suggests.
Then we could choose to go to both or either day

sounds like a great idea - and if the days are set in my diary there is a far better chance of me getting there. Do we have a venue in mind?

Sounds good to me. I've been reading "Beyond the Rainbow Bridge", and I love the idea of meeting once a week or fortnight and having an informal type of playgroup. We could also invite some guest speakers occasionally, do some craft (parents) or mending while we chat and kids play.

Not sure about venue though - it would be nice to be able to do some baking with the kiddies or have a snack area we can all set up together. You're all welcome to come to my place - it's small, but serves the purpose. As from Feb I'll only have Lily at home.

Other ideas, let me know - I'm happy to do what suits most, but if we can find a nice venue we can start to collect some nice toys, etc.

this sounds great.. i would love to meet more than once a month and it certainly makes it more likely that we will all get to at least one meeting.. an informal playgroup style sounds good also... the venue is really the main thing we have to decide on... there was Liz's suggestion of the hall at Lambton which sounded quite good... if i think of anything else i'll let you know

I think that sounds wonderful. We could have meetings at my place, but DH is going to be a SAHD next yr so you'll have to make polite conversation with him

I'm not certain where I shall be living yet. I find out if I got into uni on Jan 19th. So I'l have a better idea then.
