Default Calling Natural Parents in Newcastle

Hi,
I am interested in the Melbourne idea of NP groups. I have just moved to Newcastle NSW. 5 months preg and keen to use real nappies (having done quite a bit of work promoting these for Councils in the UK), and meet like minded people. Having been loaded up with a bounty pack from the hospital and bombarded with disposable info myself, it seems time to promote choice and reduce the misinformation thats out there to parents...

Hi Kate,
I'm in Newcastle - well, Clarence Town, about 45 min's from Newy, but visit the city regularly (if you could call it a city). We're cloth nappy people and I'm a herbalist. Feel free to PM me - I'm keen to hook up with some local people as well. I have a couple of friends who are into natural parenting, but it would be nice to organise a regular meeting/playgroup/chat time if you're interested.

Hope to hear from you!

Just don't organise it until after I've had this baby, will you girls? Now, I know that seems as though it's never gonna happen, but one day it HAS to come out! Then I'll get my baby bonus, get my new car and be able to picnic/gadabout wherever I want to!

maybe we can make a tentative date & place a few weeks from now just to give chelle time to have this baby...

does anyone have suggestions for date & place

what do people think of the weekend of 13/14 november.. that is 3 weeks away.. or maybe a weekday is better.. mon, tues, wed, sat & sun are generally fine for me

It's all good for me. Except Wednesday and Monday. Ultimatly the best weekday for me is Friday, and all the weekend is great for me aswell

I agree we have to wait for Chelle. I want to see the baby!
