we have had our son registered with Bettina Management for the better part of a year now. At first we found them to be fantastic, very helpful and enthusiastic. they made the whole process sound so exciting and to have so many opportunities for our child.

Once we went to the photoshoot and paid the expensive registeration fee of $450 (very painful)...we never heard from them again. we have since tried to contact them, but never hear back.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with them, or are we alone??

I think if you google it you will find a lot of people have had similar experiences with them, i think their is a whole lot about it on kidspot.

Don't have first hand experience with this agency, but I've heard a LOT of bad stuff about them. Apparently the amount of jobs for babies and small children in advertising is a tiny proportion of the amount on the books. Most kids don't get any work full stop, and the ones that do usually get one job shortly after signing up and never get anything more.

I did a google search after seeing your OP last night.
Lots of bad experiences on different forums. I would steer clear.

We signed up both of our kids back in May and paid $850.00 for the both of them. We have not heard anything at all, even though they said that the way the kids were they should be getting work soon.
They are supposed to notify us of work that the kids are put forward to, and not one thing has happened so obviously my kids were not pur forward to anything.

Apparently we get the second year free if they do not get work in the first year. I seem to think that is a bit of a scam and not very happy with them. We just shouldn't have wasted out hard earned money on this.

I have heard some negitive things about these people before. We had a great group of people working with us at Gilchrist Casting they where great and DD had 2jobs 1magazine ad 4 auditions and 1 unpaid interview
in the 2 years we were with them
