Hi Everyone,
My name is Kate and i am a 25yo stay at home mum of 4. I am planning to write a book and am seeking input from parents all over the world. What I would like to know is what do you as a parent, want from your child. While I am mainly focusing on teenagers, I will welcome any input from any age group. I am writing this book for teenagers in the hope that they will understand us parents better and respect us more....

your book sounds interesting.. certainly got me thinking.. don't often think of what I want from my children (accept that I would like them to be nice) but more of what I want for my children

Hi everyone once again. thanks for your warm welcomes and encouragement.
So far I have the first two chapters almost finished, but am still needing more info....do any of you have stories to share from a parents perspective as to when u realised what your parents wanted etc. It can be anything to the realisation that you could of treated your parents better or how you now understand why they acted the way they did. These will be placed in the book, uising initals only, and with your consent.
It is basically a guide for teens to help them understand the way we act and why, in the hope of making home life a little easier and less chaotic!!!
