Default Where can I get a natural baby pillow?

My 14 mo DD seems ready for a flat pillow - she's been bunching up her blankie under her head and I think a pillow would be more comfortable/safe. I'm looking for a natural pillow with no chemical junk in it, since I heard recently that new pillows have lots of nasty chemicals (fire retardants?). I've done a google search but haven't found anything, does anyone have any ideas on where I can find a natural fibre pillow?

TIA,

Ozgal

Try ecoathome.com.au (won't copy and paste for some reason) They have an organic cotton pillow in 4 sizes including cot size.

Few more there, just search for organic pillows. They're not cheap though!!

I think Tetra make a tea tree bark pillow. I've seen some of the other Tetra products (bassinette mattresses etc) at Big W, so try there for the pillow.

Yep we have a tetra pillow here, we bought it for about $18 at babies galore.... the sales attendant was trying to sell me a synthetic one and trying to talk me out of the tetra as it 'stains' (from the bark when wet) but this has never happened in 4 months, we've been really happy with it.

Yeah, I had a Tetra bassinette mattress and never had any problems with it. Maybe the sales attendant was just trying to sell the synthetic one because it had a bigger profit margin... or maybe didn't know much about the Tetra product?

I just put a flannel nappy on mine to stop stains

Great ideas girls, thanks heaps for that. I also use an old flannel sheet under the mattress sheet to avoid stains...they happen sometimes.

I stuck a piece of rubber backed curtain material on the inside of the pillow case. Stopped it getting gross.
