Hi,
I'm a freelance writer, working mainly for women's/parenting magazines, and I've been commissioned by Woman's Day to do an article on different parenting styles. The article will be three women talking about the way they're bringing up their children, and I'd like one of the women to be using attachment parenting principles. I'm a big believer in attachment parenting myself - my 14-month-old daughter sleeps with us, and she spent a lot of her first year in the sling - not that I originally planned that, but I quickly worked out it was what she wanted, and it's made all three of us very happy - so I'm really keen to have something positive on attachment parenting in the magazine. What it would involve is a phone interview, and then a photo shoot, in Sydney, of you with your child/children (ideally, you'd have at least one child who is still quite young - maybe under two). If anyone is interested, please email me at hvnuk@acpmagazines.com.au. I have approval from Susan to post this request. Thanks, Helen. |

I hope one of our wonderful Sydney mums jumps up and puts their hand up for you.
