Hi - I hope this doesn't duplicate a thread... the search function doesn't seem to be working for me. I had a bit of a scroll and couldn't find anything.
DH and I have a Holden Astra, and when the new baby comes, will have two car seats/ capsules in the back seat. Thing is, our anchor points are right at the back of the boot, so when there are two tether straps, we'll be pretty restricted as to what we can angle into our boot. DH thinks we'll need to get a new car. I really want to avoid it, mostly for financial reasons, but also because we have a smallish car space and I don't want to have to park a bigger car in it. I can get around most things. We already have our groceries home delivered anyway. But I'm not sure what to do about stroller/pram issue. As a newborn our baby will be slung a lot, I imagine, but I would like to have the option of a stroller either for baby when older or for our toddler. So I'm looking for a lightweight compact stroller. So much cheaper than new car! Any suggestions? I'm thinking about Maclaren Quest Sport & Maclaren Daytripper (both around 5 kgs, 104cm long when folded) at the moment, but very open to suggestion. |
