Big Smile Developmental Milestone!

Well, it finally happened Cooper has reached another developmental milestone. Yep, he flushed something other than poo, wee or toilet paper. The nail clippers went in the toilet this morning and were quickly flushed LOL.
Luckily they are too heavy to actually go anywhere .
That's a very important milestone isn't it

Don't know why - but I just had to share that!

Go Cooper! Now those are the milestones that *should* be in the baby books Conor is never doing any of the stuff in the mainstream ones but he might score on a slightly different chart. Maybe we should devise The Alternative List of Milestones just for NPM?

I've got one Conor carefully employs his best pincer grip (actually has had that since 4 weeks old!) to remove pieces of unwanted food and hand them back. So that's obviously a 21 month milestone!

What other milestones would Cooper like to register?

Elijah has worked out how to lift the toilet seat so he can splash in the toilet water, does that count?

That is definitely a milestone! Conor has lots of toilet ones... He has never put anything down it but he loves lifting up the lid and banging it down. Yay Elijah!

Love the idea of the alternative milestone list!

Six months: Jack learnt to, from both of us lying down for a feed, sit himself up and help himself to the other breast.....then nope the other one was better......oh better check the other one again....so cute, probably not setting up good behaviour for social situations tho lol.

Well that trick is what led Elijah to working out how to get at the water Janet

LOL Marie, Elijah also does that, but he doesn't sit up, just sort of lifts and strains his neck

Way to go Cooper, welcome to the toilet fishing club, it is a veyr elite club that includes my mother's engagement ring when I was 2 years old a promise ring I bought from an antique store I bought for my hubby care of my eldest, 14 in total full rolls of toilet paper from the same child, my first anniversary necklace and first mothers day locket care of my second child along with only 6 rolls of toilet paper, 2 hairbrushes, 1 toilet brush, 3 bars of soap, 1 can of hairspray, 2 facewashes and of course we can never forget the McDonald's Nemo toy, which did actually get flushed, but did't go far.....all drains do not lead to the ocean.
It's a wondeful club. Just keep note because it will make a great speech for a 21st one day. I think that is the only way I could get myself through fishing out my jewellry. I do keep telling myself that one day my boys will give me something that will erase the memoray completely. (hey it could simply be the best cuddle in the world)

I have another one to add. Yesterday I found him in the bathroom (why does EVERYTHING seem to happen there?) putting KYJelly on my toothbrush (not DH's or his own of course, it had to be MINE!) and then "brushing" his teeth/eating it!
He has also recently realised that he and daddy have the same bits at which he - for some unknown reason - says tickle tickle and plays with his penis, then tickle tickle and attempts to tickle daddy and then points to my lack of penis and says "ooohh".
Thats got to be a milestone too I think.

Had to add - I loved your Nemo story the first time I read it, so did DH we had a good laugh!
