Medihoney. You can get it from the chemist and its made of honey.. yummmm! I have beenthru everything with Eli, and this works the best for him, its just fantastic for dry skin. The other thing is baths. Dont use any types of soaps at all. If they want to use somting in the bath, then try QV bath oil,and only give a bath at most every other day. As bathing drys the skin out and doesnt give it a chance for the natural oils to heal the skin. The other thing is to find out whats causing the excema.

James had eczema, not too bad, and a herbalist made up something which he had one drop of each morning in his porridge, also went wheat and dairy free - it cleared the eczema in a few months and he's never had a hint of it since. (Have slowly reintroduced wheat and dairy, but I do try to keep them to a minimum for all of use anyway.) This particular herbalist was/is in Sydney, though I'm sure you could find someone in Adelaide. Also echoing Melissah, keep baths to minimum and no soap if possible. And use a very mild clothes detergent.

Cornflour rubbed onto it works really well for some types of eczema I have found. Just normal cornflour from the supermarket. Also Finn had really nasty weepy eczema behind his knees for a while and I used a crystal that I got from the markets- also used as a deoderant. My Aunty bought it and we saw it said it was good for eczema - cleared it up in a week amazing. But on the all over type stuff and the bad patch he had on his bum the cornflour worked for us. Then we tried cutting out cows milk and its never come back since. Good luck its such a horrible thing to have- I still suffer relatively mildly from it and I have never had any success with anything- even the medi honey didnt work for either of us.

Depends on the "type" of eczema. I have had it and a cream I've used is Bio-Juvena (sp?) from the pharmacy. Don't know about this one for bubs though. It worked on my patches on my face where 100 other things didn't. Dairy products and chocolate are my no-no's... I think a lot of cases of eczema are diet related. Bel
