Default Thinking of vaxing my 4yo

My dd1 was fully vaxed up to 6mo (we wanted her vaxed while we were living in India) but nothing since then. Now she's 4yo and we're thinking about giving her the MMR and possibly varicella, now that her immune system is more developed. Any advice about if we should or not? We've been weighing up the pros and cons, but I really suffered with measles, chicken pox and mumps as a child and don't want her to go through that. DSD recently had chickenpox as an adult and was very sick. We'll probably be living in India again at some point in the future, where these diseases are endemic, but not for at least a year or so. Please spam me with the pros and cons! Thanks!

As you say chicken pox as an adult is extremely nasty, both my sister and DP had it as an adult and they have never been so sick.
I think with the intention of returning to India I would vax. This is such a personal and emotive subject. Good luck with reaching a decision you and your family are comfortable with.

Thanks! I'm having problems opening the links to the vax threads, though, even though it hasn't been a problem in the past.

Also, google Hilary Butler. Excellent, informative reading.
