Intersussception

hi there, i am just new to this forum, and i was hoping i could get some help.....my 2 year old has been doing some very interesting bowel movements over the past few months, when i say interesting, i mean......bright pink....leaving a little red on her nappies.....when she has these episodes, she is very moody, clingy, cries alot. my doctor thinks it mat be intersussception??? does anybody else have any experience on this matter?

This must be heartbreaking to see. I have never heard of intersusseption but wanted to welcome you to NP.
Has your Dr suggested anything that may be able to help?

I had to look it up as I wasn't sure what it was. Sorry, no advice, but I hope she can get treated without too many dramas!

I'm sorry, I've not heard about this problem before. Is your doctor the kind who's good at talking through the details? You might need to let him know you need more information.

thanks for the welcome......intersussception is actually really hard to find any info on from the net. but if anyone does find anything interesting on the topic, could you please paste a link her for me? thanks all.
