Default Evening primrose

Just reading in the nappy cream thread, Smurray said she might look up some marigold plants to get calendula..

Has anyone ever tried eating evening primrose flowers to help regulate pmt and period pain? I used to years ago, my Mum had them growing wild in the garden and I would eat one flower a month- stamen, pollen and all- and after a few months I noticed a significant decrease in my period pain.

After two kids now I very rarely get any now, and only mild but I have had more severe and longer pmt some months. and it just occured to me maybe I should grow some again to try. I know you can get the capsules, but I it is so easy to grow and cheaper and unprocessed.

Em
