Default How long do vax's shed for?

I can't seem to find any specific information on how long live vaccinations shed for? DS's favourite playmate has just had her chickenpox vaccination so I want to know more about it.

Also, on a more global level, how do other people with unvaccinated children approach this issue? I imagine DS has been exposed many times by now to live vaccines as whilst parents often keep their "sick" kids at home, they don't typically isolate them after a vaccination. Do you ask people your children regularly play with to let you know when their children are having a vax? (We haven't done so except in specific cases where we know the other parent/s will not freak out in response to our request )

http://orpheus.ucsd.edu/shs/varicella.html - "shed in stools for at least 6 weeks"

http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/521977?src=mp - "up to a month" (MMRV combo)

I'd be saying 6-8 weeks to be on the safe side.

DD is not vaxxed, but also not had much social interaction. I have been pondering this question as she's getting older & more wanting to be around other kids.

6-8 weeks! Oh dear! I was hoping a week would cover "being on the safe side".
