biotin for cradle cap/ dermatitis - and salicylates

i started biotin today for EBF DS's eczema/cradle cap.

anyone done it?

i heard injections for both mother and baby are the most successful treatments - but that's too invasive. i'm hoping it gets into my milk.

i have just started the low salicylate diet also. plus i already eliminated soy, dairy, eggs, gluten, nuts, dioxides, colours, all the usual suspects.

what kind of chemicals are you using around the house.. cleaners, soaps and other VOC's.. I would stay away from anything except bicarb and vinegar and see if it clears up..

wheat isn't it the list, do you consume that? if so, maybe take that out?

My little girl also suffered from cradle cap. I use a product made by Naturally Divine and it clears it up perfectly and its all natural.
