Yes, garlic, and it can be applied topically too. Silica tissue salts (Schuessler, from the health supplements section at the pharmacy) may help also. Tea-tree oil in bathwater can help with both the ringworm and the boils, plus keep them covered until the scab has healed. You could even keep an atomiser/spray bottle with tea tree, lavendar and water to spray on hands and skin regularly. When she gets pimples, its important she keep her hands off them. This is the time to topically apply the garlic (just cut a clove) - before the skin is broken.
Prevention is key. But is sounds like she needs some constitutional help as well, so maybe a probiotic and vitamin supplement wouldn't hurt either?
