I can't see the problem, just be mindful of the sugar, but if it is what you need to get through the sickness then you have to do what you have to do!! I would still take your vitamins. And I've never heard of becoming lactose intolerant during pregnancy because of lots of milk, depends on what pre-existing problems you have I guess.

I've heard that not drinking enough can make nausea worse. Do you have nausea when you drink a lot of water in a day or is it just the orange juice that helps?

Sugar from the juice, and the calcium from the milk would counter the acidity. Sounds like you're body is telling you what it wants. If it makes you feel better, keep going. You'll quite likely find one day that you don't want them any more

I was exactly the same re: the milk... and I was pineapple juice, not orange. I drank gallons upon gallons of the stuff, and if I didn't I was vilely ill.

I say go with it.

Another voter for "go for it".

As for the lactose intolerance stuff - what the? Sounds like a pretty strange myth to me

There is an old wives tale..... when the bubba is a girl, you crave orange juice.... if a boy, you crave grapefruit juice....

I know it was right at least once! I had serious grapefruit juice cravings and had a baby boy!

Wishing you a joyful juice filled pregnancy.

i'd try healthier sources of vit c - organic capsicums or similar you might find your teeth don't thank you for that much juice

if you drink it through a straw it doesn't hit the teeth . and I am not sure it's about the vit c tbh... i do know that pineapple juice is considered to have a similar effect to low levels of prostoglandins for ripening the cervix.

This was the same for me! I used to down serious amounts of grapefruit juice on a very bumpy crowded bus ride every morning and it was the only thing that got me through the sickness.
