Default Natural Instinct Products

Hello All,

I found out about this the other day. Basically Natural Instinct have been found guilty of not listing all the ingredients (such as sodium laurel sulfate!) in their products! You can read the whole story below.

I agree wholeheartedly with Gina's comments.

Wow. Thanks for posting this. I have used some of those products in the past, and I am a bit annoyed at the deception. I also use products that do contain some of those ingredients, but with kids who sometimes get excema it's important for me to know exactly what I last used on them if they react to something. How can I know what they've had a reaction to if the product labelling is incomplete?

No problem Emma - it was Gina from Cleanlife who alerted me to it and I just had to share this info.

Yes Lisa, sad is one word of many descriptive ones I had running through my head when I first heard about it! ;-)

Kind Regards,
Chrissy

My health food shop actually stopped stocking NI some time ago because they weren't entirely convinced at their 'naturalness'. Sorry to see they were right

Now I know why DS3's skin remains red and blotchy, I've been unknowingly bathing him in bloody SLS..... I am so annoyed!

A site visitor just contacted me via email to let me know that there is a press release from the ACCC

Here

Thank-you to the visitor. I actually can't reply from that account, but wanted to let you know I appreciate you getting in touch.

Thanks for posting this!

I rang my local pharmacist as he stocks it to let him know and emailed him links to the articles and to the ACCC report (in Lisa's post above).

I have also emailed the info on to friends as I know some of them use the products. I tried them but found they made my head REALLY itchy... like others have said, now I know why.

Doesn't surprise me at all!

I reacted to them as well & was always frustrated that I couldn't find much product info on their website when the products first came out - certainly nothing about organic certification for those things they claimed were organic.

On Natural Instinct's website one of the first lines referring to their products says "NO Sodium Lauryl Sulphate". Think of the business they are going to lose ...
