Hi, After lots of research, including some great info from this forum, I decided to buy stainless steel drink bottles for our family. I was discussing this with my husband and he said that if I searched the net I'd probably be able to find research that would state how bad stainless steel is, as much as other research says how bad plastic is. I had a quick search and haven't found anything, but just wondered your thoughts on this? Thanks, Leah |

My DH says that about the net as well. The order for least chemicals leaking into food/drink is: 1. glass 2. earthenwares/terracotta 3. ceramics 4. stainless steel 5. steel alloy 6. silicon 7.coated aluminium 8. plastic/uncoated aluminium The water in our Ewan stainless steel water bottles tastes so much better then in the plastic ones we now use as freezer bricks. |

Thanks, yep I did read that other thread. It was part of what helped with my decision to change bottles! Now to find a bargain somewhere |

Supa Tankas are on sale at Kids Outdoor Gear - Home, and their normal prices on the other sizes are pretty good, too |
