Default Does anyone go to a Eco-kids playgroup?

Hi all,

Long time, no post for me.. I was wondering if anyone here goes to a playgroup that is aimed at families living sustainable lifestyles?

I have been to a great Steiner playgroup before that was enviro-aware, but my kids won't be going to a Steiner school (happily, they will be going to a sustainable school though!). I was hoping to find (or start) a playgroup for likeminded people, but wasn't sure about it.

Can you share your experiences with me, if you have been to one, or run a playgroup before? I guess I have an idealistic idea in my head of what I would like, but know the reality is probably different! TIA

Does the school your children will be attending have a play group or could you perhaps advertise there to meet likeminded parents in your community?

It sounds like it will be a beautiful group.

I have emailed them about it already! None running at the moment. I have also contacted the Playgroup Organisation in this state, and the 'natural parenting' playgroup they referred me to, shut down last year! I have emailed the Steiner playgroup organiser here, to ask about their home-based groups again! Will keep looking into it, and perhaps see what interest there might be in my area, to start one myself? Thanks for the advice, though!
