Hi all! We are about to move into our new house!!!! And I'm going to put in a vege patch. Can you please give me all your tips and tricks as I really have no idea what I'm doing! Any help would be great!

I don't know too much but what I know is to pick the sunniest spot possible - one that gets almost all day sunlight will ensure you get good vegies and also prepare the soil and mulch helps retain moisture, we use a sugar cane style mulch but it's my DH with the green thumb and we have a very small veggie patch! Also do a bit of reasearch into planting things together that help reduce pests - ie Tomatoes and Basil go well together plus there is a flower that you can plant with tomatoes but I can't remember their name start with C from memory! Good luck nothing better then eating food you have grown yourself.
