Seeds germinating in worm farm & bacterial spot disease
Just started a worm farm last week... to my surprise, lots of seeds are germinating in the farm. Possibly pumpkin? I would like to try and transplant them and wondered if anyone had any tips...
I just transplanted 4 into seedling pots into compost... I wish now I'd put more of the worm castings into it, but I was reluctant to take too much out of such a new farm.
Any tips?
My other question :( i had 6 capsicum plants.. wel one of them got brown spots and seemed to wither, and i pulled it out.. unfortunately it seems to have slowly spread... the 2 closest to that one are hopeless and 3 further away seem to be holding on (producing lots of capsicum). Some googling revealed this to be bacterial spot disease, I have cut off all the affected leaves... I'm just wondering what the chances are of the plants battling/ recovering from this?
Note - pretty sure I spread it from the first plant by sideways watering... bacteria must have got into the droplets and then hit other plants, as that's the direction it's travelled in.
