Question Children Books

Does anyone know any good books I read to my children about environment and green living?

The Wilderness Society Environment Award for Children's Literature has some great suggestions

Jeannie Baker has some fabulous books too. Just love 'em. Check out "Where the Forest Meets The Sea" and "Window" "Belonging"

Caren Trafford is another In googling her for a link, I found this link filled with more books!

Oh, you MUST get Uno's Garden written and illustrated by Graeme Base (same author as Animalia)

We have NEVER tired of it.

Not specifically about the environment or green living, but a great kids book that our family LOVES is "The Black Pot Belly" by Maree Cootes.

The Lorax was one of my favs as a child. It struck a chord with me and I always found it fascinating. I was disappointed when I bought a copy for DD1 and she dismissed it immediately..oh that's boring and it ended up on the bottom of the book basket Should have expected that I guess. She's a different child than I was.
