Hello all Okay I am very new to all of this so everyone is going to have to bear DP and I have only just started living naturally...part of this new leaf for us was going organic...however I really having issues getting there.... So far the changes we have made; Baking own bread using 80% organic products Buying 100% organic milk, flour, general staples Limiting any consumption of foods with numbers in them Only using organic or natural products on our skin Using Organic or natural house cleaners Buying all of our fruit/veg from farmers markets I am about to start buying our meat - not organic but natural... I still feel like we are not quite there...can you please share how you went organic or natural...

I have been sharing my journey to the organic life with other members on this thread; journey back to the 'crunchy' and organic life! You should join us. I have been doing a lot of what you have listed.

no worries, you wouldn't be intruding at all! The more the merrier..and more ideas!! i thought i would just link that thread rather than repeat what i am doing so far....am trying to be timewise too!!! Actually something i haven't posted in there yet is that i found that there are heaps of books in the library(i am sure most would be the same) on living organic and a more 'green' lifestyle, with lots of simple tips and ideas. How are you going at finding organic products? Do you shop in specifically organic shops? So far i have found Coles and Woolworths have a few organic products, but there is a new organic store near my mums house i am planning to go to soon!!!

organic products...what can I say...I get my tea (dandelion) and coffee (decaf) from organic stores...so too my soy sauces etc anything that is I guess a bit specific like maple syrup i get from there... Safeway and coles are great now that they have flour and pasta etc that are organic it makes things a little easier for me and my pocket i am yet to find organic sugar - eventhough I see it in the labels of most of my organic food. Drinks are a major issue to its water or juice...no cordial in organic world...I cant wait until summer and I can make my own cordial! How about you? My cleaning products I get from TRI nature - they are natural though not organic - I love them! When I first meet my local sales person I said...'okay so they are not organic...they are natural but how natural...' she answered by eating some of the clothes washing powder - she said it tastes gross but it sure wont make me sick!
