Default eco stain removal

Hi everyone!

i am busy nesting at the moment and cleaning out cupboards today....

I came across some beautiful white sheets that my hubby bought for our cloth wedding anniversary ( they are really nice quality)

Sadly as I am quite a grot, it wasnt long before they were stained ( they have sweat stains - well we do live in Brisbane, so its not surprising i guess!!!)

anyway i am looking for an eco friendly way to clean them - would soaking in bicarb do anything to help? I have some orange power stain remover - should I use that? Anyone had a similar problem?

thanks

love spiral and sprout
xoxo

I totally swear by this stuff:
http://www.goldenglow.com.au/ggecomm...roductId=13659
It will get out Alice Springs red dirt and let me tell you, nothing gets out AS red dirt (not even napisan).
I buy it from this site, but it might be available at your local organic shop.

i searched the internet and found lots of sites suggesting that you should soak in vinegar to remove yellow sweat stains from fabric - so I soaked, i washed with my normal aware powder and have had the sheets in the sun

- and WOW! The vinegar made a visible difference before the washing, and the sun has done the rest! They still arent perfect, but it is a HUGE difference, and I think another day in the sun should do it!

I cant believe a bit of vinegar and sunshine has taken these sheets from something that looked like it needed to be binned, to sheets that I cant wait to use again.....all without having to resort to nasty chemicals!
