i love breast feeding!

breast feeding, ....back in the day I would have loved a career as a wet nurse....I'm a sucker for the puckered lips and the instant ecstatic satisfaction on her little face, she looks like she's home and connected to a rainbow, the flow of nutrition and love and comfort, and now she's getting older i feel like it's more a case of my baby weaning me!and if i'm not careful i'll be chasing her round with "you want some boosies?drink??"

I love it too.

When my bub feeds during the night - when he is really hungry and not just doing a comfort suck, but when he's really vaccuuming the stuff in, I seriously get some kind of high... I know it's the oxytocins or whatver... I don't feel it so much during the day but the night time feeds are great. Lol!

I often call my DH to come and look over my shoulder so he can see the expression on our baby's face as he looks up at me and feeds.. it is so special.

ah this is just what i said last night to dh

i was saying it will be nice to wear perfume, drink coffee and drink alcohol again but know they can all easily wait as i love breastfeeding!

that deep, utterly contented suck they get into, smiling while sucking slightly letting it go then slurping it in like spaghetti makes me smile every time.... actually if i'm honest it makes me want to groom him like a loving mother lioness.

breastfeeding is great!

I adore breastfeeding too. Everytime someone comments on Quinn's fat little legs and her chubby cheeks I feel so proud of myself because "I did that!!"

The night time feeds are actually my favourite.. just me and my girl. It's a beautiful, peaceful time.

This is where I'm at just now, Tonight I thought I'd see what would happen if i didn't go and get DS for a feed and just asked him if he wanted it. He didn't come

, though he did need it this afternoon! I'm feeling really mixed, sad that our relationship is changing, but amazed by how much he is growing developing.
BUT, I'll be back to those beautiful newborn feeds soon enough which is very exciting!!

i wish i could say that about cj!! thats so beautifull!!!!!

I LOVED breastfeeding too. I wasnt even too bothered by pumping for CJ because i knew it was the best thing i could do for him.....but it was HARD WORK for both of us.

I still long to be able to breastfeed him. i have even tried again when i know there is likely nothing there..but he still wont have a bar of it!

Cant wait to feed this next baby!

I know how you feel about thinking you could be a wet nurse.
i never used to like the idea much...but now whenever i hold my sisters bub i want to feed him, and am SOOOOOO jelous when i see other mums feeding.
