Sarah, I knitted some woolly tights for my DD's baby doll a couple of years ago, I could dig out the pattern if you like? I also have some dolls' dress patterns but they are from verrrry old pattern books and so a bit old fashioned. I'll have a look and see if there are any easy ones though.

Ok here's the pattern for leggings for a 14" doll, using 3 ply baby wool with No.11 needles, tension=8 sts to 1".

Right leg:cast on 38 stitches (sts). work 6 rows in k1, p1 rib. Change to Stocking Stitch (stst) and shape back thus: K6, turn, p back. K12, turn, p back. K18, turn, p back. Continue (cont) in stst on all sts, increase (inc) 1 st at beginning (beg) of next row.
Now inc 1 st at both ends of every 4th row until there are 49 sts. Cont till work measures 3 and 3/4".
Now decrease (dec) 1 st at beg of every row until 31 sts remain. Cont until work measures 7". ending after a k row.
Next row: P1, (wool round needle, p2 together) to end
Shape Foot: Next Row: K20, turn, p9.
Work 9 rows on these 9 sts.
Next row: (P1, p3 together) twice, p1.
Next Row: K5, pick up and k 8 sts along side of instep, k11.
Next Row: Moss st 24. Pick up and k8 sts along side of instep, k11. 43 sts.** moss st 7 rows.
Next Row: K3 together, k5, k3 tog, k6, (k3 tog)3 times, k6, k3 tog, k5, k3 tog. Cast off.
** work left leg to match, beginning back with a p row.
To make up: Join front and back seams, then join leg and foot seams. Thread elastic through waist ribbing.

I found a simple skirt pattern too, but it's for a 16-19 inch doll- do you want that one?
