Default Look what I made

Ok, I'm going to show off things that I have made.

We could make this a thread where anyone can come and have a little gloat about the things that they have made and post some pics.

Firstly, here is a sling I made for my little girl. It is reversible. In the photo, the flowers are on the outside with plain purple on the inside, but I could have it the other way around if I wanted too.

This photo was taken by a shop assistance at Myer who commented "you need a photo of that" and I just happened to have my camera in my handbag

Very nice

And lucky to have a camera stashed in your bag!

Ok, now here is a skirt that I made Aaliya out of the material that was left over from the sling. There wasn't much material and I felt very thrifty making use of it....

Oh, I also made the model (cute, isn't she )

And one more for tonight, then I'm off to bed

I've been having a little screen printing obsession. I have a stack of 2nd hand singlets - now they are useful.

Just in case you can't read them, the first says "I'm a slinger baby, yeah" (in Austin Powers writing). The second says "My mum is boobylicious" and you should be able to read the third

Yep, she has grown - with 100% booby milk (hence the singlet) . She is quite different from when you last saw her, considering she was only 8 days old

And yes, I did make the screens using photo emulsion. But the screens are made out of pictures frames and sheer fabric stuff that I picked up at Reverse Garbage. I'm having this thing at the moment where I want to create cool things using recycled materials (rejecting consumerism and all that stuff).

If anyone is really keen to get a blank t-shirt or singlets printed with any of the above, I'd be happy to if they sent me their stuff as well as a self addressed envelope. The screens are made and ready to go. PM me if you are interested.
