Lotus birth with c/section?
Has anyone had a lotus birth with a scheduled c-section in a public hospital?
How did the idea go down with the staff? What kinds of objections could I expect to encounter? Do I have a RIGHT to have a lotus c/s that they cannot refuse?

i know a woman who had one in Sydney - if i remember properly the hospital had no idea what to do so she had to walk them through it during the surgery and afterwards but it was doable...

I know the hospital i birthed at in melbourne allowed the delayed clamping, but once it was clamped it had to be taken home as they said they wouldnt store it for longer than an hour due to infection and hygiene reasons. I have heard of hosps doing it before though. Good luck
