I watched some of the other birth videos too... really gave me the willies.. lots of women flat on their backs, a midwife pushing down on a birthing woman's belly to get the baby out quickly, episiotomies, an ob holding a baby in the air by it's feet for a while while cord was clamped and cut, then whisking it off to another room for suctioning and wiping, and still no sign of it being handed to it's mother...... I had to turn them off. :(

That's pretty awesome to see a bubby coming out bum first. I can't get past them putting the poor little mite down on the instrument tray and then handing him off to one of the staff. Poor little guy, there was no reason he couldn't have been cuddling his mum while all that was going on.

 Oh my gosh. I've seen a lot of babies born, and I've never been physically ill until now. I've never seen someone birth in full lithotomy either and I can see the pushing up hill. And all the blood.
